An Old Building, a Beautiful Lady and a Gorgeous Day in Toulon

I love days when I have errands to do in Toulon – because I really enjoy walking around our city. There are so many little hidden treasures and secret places to explore and wonderful things to see.
And that’s one of the other things I love – I get to see them because we walk almost everywhere we go. Toulon is set up so that almost everything you need is within walking distance. From where we live, the market is about 10 minutes away, the port is 15 minutes, the Opera House is about 5 minutes away and one of the best beaches is only about 20 minutes from here.
So this morning on my way to the dry cleaners, I saw this beautiful lady leaning out over her balcony – in one of the older buildings. I wish I’d had time to get my zoom focus, so you could see how really beautiful she is, but you’ll have to take my word for it! She looked to be in her 80s, and she was enjoying the wonderful weather – it’s in the 70’s right now, and watching the people walking past her square.
